I am a content writer and occasionally review hotels. However, rarely, I critique here, normally I rant over bad experiences or thank great service. I don't remember being compelled to write a hotel review, until today. Here is the context: My wife and I booked one night in this hotel last week. Before checking out, I was asked by management about my experience, and I expressed a couple of negatives. However, later that evening at our apartment, I wondered if I had been harsh with my criticism, so a few days later we booked another night, and this is the review. There is one thing this hotel has that cannot be replicated, and that is the staff. I constantly travel (the last 3 years staying in Airbnb and hotels worldwide) and have done so for 40 years. I have had great experiences, but the staff at this hotel, without exception are amazing! It is so funny, I feel like a little boy at my first Butlins holiday, queueing for Redcoats autographs (you need to be over 55 and British to understand). But I have to give a shout-out to the best barmen ever!: Faysel, Bilel and Nasser. I found a satisfying, clean, pleasant room with a nice balcony, but I feel it is a little dated. It could be fixed with a $200 spend. The hotel bar area is more of an extension of the reception. The seating is spaced and feels difficult to socialize with others but we found a way. There is no focal point, you are seated facing different views of the lobby. Whilst understanding this is Ramadan, having the seating face the animation screen area with a projected video and music would be so much better. There is a very nice balcony outside of the bar area and we spent a lot of time there. The grounds of the hotel are exceptional, the palms have been here for years, and the shrubbery and spice gardens feel like your favourite jewellery, complementing an outfit. Pools are not my thing but I trust the guests who said they were amazing and there is an adult pool.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean and spacious. Our room was lovely, private balcony with stunning views. During the day the road could be loud but at night it was quiet and you could hear the waves crashing on the rocks 😍 The buffet restaurant was superb, the best all-inclusive food we’ve had. Although the options each day were similar, there was always a different type of meat or fish and every night was a different theme.. my favourite was tex-mex night! Most of the staff were super friendly although some were less-experienced than others. The animation team were incredible and certainly made our holiday much more special, also very good choices of entertainment in the bar area. Singing, dancing and even a magic show while we were there!

The location was fabulous. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean with comfortable sitting out areas both inside and outside. The rooms were very large and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows if you needed them. All the staff were friendly and personable from the initial reception to check out. Good customer service was obviously in their DNA! The food was attractive and delicious with plenty of choice at all meal times. Prior to going I had seen some poor reviews about the food choice, but in my experience this was a total nonsense and cannot conceive what those reviewers were talking about. Thank you to the Best Hotel Group and in particular to the Semiramis management and team of staff.

We spent about a week at the hotel, and the stay was very pleasant and peaceful. The hotel is located on a cliff with a stunning panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and about a fifteen-minute walk along the beach from the center. The room is not modern designed, but it is large, the bed is extra large and comfortable and the view from the balcony is stunning. The hotel has pools, a gym, a reading room and sitting corners . The hotel staff is courteous, doing everything they can to be helpful to guests. The dining room has a relatively good variety of food, including cheeses, cold cuts, and vegetables and more.

The hotel is lovely with fantastic views but it is very noisy with the waves hitting the rocks down below, didnt bother me but my partner was kept awake until he go used to it. The food was very nice, we only had breakfast but there was everything you could have wanted and more, even rose cava, if you like a drink at breakfast. They could put some more sunbeds out were the sunshines as quiet a lot where in the shade. The entertainment was ok, some better than others. The balconies dont get any sun on them and all the rooms are sea views, the sun is round the other side of the hotel.
